Sustenance
Yellow butterfly winging
from black-eyed Susan to red rose
sipping passion's potion
Lightning Strikes Hummingbird
Ruby-throat beats a note.
OOPS!That's all she wrote;
broken wings and feathers singed.
Closing the Circle
Broken blue waves,
white foam, placental sea beckons me
to evening's infinite ebb.
